Mr. Graves was born on Nov. 16, 1869 in Vinton County, the son of Eli and Martha Nichols Graves. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna Myrtle Eagon, who died in 1952. A son, Willard, died in 1958.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Owen Harper, Londonderry, Route 1, with whom Mr. Graves made his home, and Mrs. Hazel Hassey and Mrs. Gladys Burris, both of Columbus; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Fred Clark, Ray, Route 1.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the McArthur Christian Church, with the Rev. J. P. Daab officiating. Burial will be in Elk Cemetery under the direction of the Wrightsel Funeral Home, McArthur.
Friends may call at the Harper residence after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
