Mrs Mary S. McNeil Blair, 82, a native and lifelong resident of Chester, died at Chester Hospital yesterday following a one-week illness. She was the widow of the late Samuel B. Blair. Mrs. Blair lived at 107 E. 22nd St. She also was the mother of the late Samuel Blair Jr., a former superintendent of communications in Chester who died eight months ego. Mrs. Blair was a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church. She is survived by two sons and four daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Sommer, Mary H. and Elizabeth Blair, all of Chester; James of Woodlyn; David of Pottstown: and Mrs. Anna Poore of Pennsgrove, N.J. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at lO a.m. from the John L. Clancy funeral home, 9th and Upland St. Services will be at 11 am at St Paul's Episcopal Church, 9th and Madison Sts.
Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday evening at the funeral home.
