Joe Antle, 75, Mark Bernard Lane, Russell Springs, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Liberty Care Center.

He was the son of the late Vertis and Lizzie Coffey Antle.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Antle, Russell Springs; two sons, Charles Antle, Russell Springs and Kevin (Vanessa) Antle, Russell Springs; one daughter, Joanne (Mike) Modlin, Savannah, GA; five grandchildren, Jamie Reichardt, Round Rock, TX, Keith Smith, Ill., Matthew Chapman, Dylan Antle and Megan Merrick, all of Russell Springs; four brothers, Arvil Antle, Louisville, Bobby Antle, Jamestown, Allen Antle and Ernest Antle, both of Russell Springs; three sisters, Maxine McClellan and Mary Francis Lee, both of Indiana and Ida Holt, Russell Springs.

He was preceded in death by one brother Roy Antle and a sister Evelyn Alexander.

Mr. Antle was a farmer and a member of the Hayes Chapel United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 3rd at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Wheeler officiating. Burial in the Ragan Cemetery.

Special music by Bobby and Ida Holt, Bodie Emerson and Steve Stapp.
Pallbearers were Brian Campbell, Curtis Hill, Clyde Wooldridge, Arvis Stapp, Phillip Stapp and Steve Wheeler.
