RIPON-Clifford Arnold Alf, 73 of Ripon died Monday, May 7, 1990, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 4, 1916, in Berlin, a son of Edward and Lydia Lichtenberg Alf. On Nov. 23, 1944, he married Artheale Crump in Ripon.
Mr. Alf was educated in Berlin. He was a farmer and had lived in the Ripon area the last 50 years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Merikay (Jeffrey) Warnke of Ripon, and Penny (Ken) Reno of Las Vegan, Nev.; four grandchildren, Nicole and Todd Warnke at home, David Reno of Bremerton, Wash., and Douglas Reno of Norfolk, Va.; one brother, Alfred of Ripon; three sisters, Lillian Berger of Green Lake, Esther Braun of Waupun and Irene Werch of Marietta, Ga.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Alice.
Funeral services for Mr. Alf will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Rev. Harley C. W. Tretow will officiate.
Friends may call from 6:30 p.m. until the hour of the services Thursday at the funeral home.
