Word has been received here of the death of Fred BeBord, who passed away in his home in Maitland, Mo., March 17. He had been in falling health for some time and was 95 years of age at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Whittington BeBord.
He was born April 29 1858 on a farm northwest of Princeville, the son of Reuben R. and Julia Hall DeBord and was the brother of William, Henry, Charles, Frank, and A. B. DeBord and of Mrs. Emma Gladfelter, Mrs. Ella Wear, Mrs. Clara Sanford and Miss Harriet DeBord all of whom preceded him in death.
In his early years he engaged in farming near the home place in Princeville township. One son Bernice passed away in Maitland, Mo., many years ago.
He was born April 19, 1858 and passed away March 17, 1952, aged 93 years 10 months and 18 days.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 19 at 2 p.m. in Maitland Mo. Burial was in the K. of P. cemetery
