He was born April 29 1858 on a farm northwest of Princeville, the son of Reuben R. and Julia Hall DeBord and was the brother of William, Henry, Charles, Frank, and A. B. DeBord and of Mrs. Emma Gladfelter, Mrs. Ella Wear, Mrs. Clara Sanford and Miss Harriet DeBord all of whom preceded him in death.
In his early years he engaged in farming near the home place in Princeville township. One son Bernice passed away in Maitland, Mo., many years ago.
He was born April 19, 1858 and passed away March 17, 1952, aged 93 years 10 months and 18 days.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 19 at 2 p.m. in Maitland Mo. Burial was in the K. of P. cemetery
