Mrs. Dobbin, widow of the late Hugh A. Dobbin of Todd, a most splendid lady, 86 years old, quietly, peacefully, passed beyond the shadows on last Sunday night, and the tired body was laid to rest near the old home on Tuesday. Mrs. Dobbin spent the major part of he long and useful life in the community in which she breathed her last, and those who knew her best loved her the most, being as she was a ministering spirit to the entire community. Always gentle, always kind and obliging and above all, she lived an exemplary christian life, scattering sunshine wherever she went. A beautiful life, a triumphant death and a safe passage over chilly waters. Just another of the truly good mothers in Israel passed to her reward.
