Deceased Name: H. "Jesse" Stringer
Savannah - Henry Jesse Stringer, died Tuesday, May 09, 2006, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Tattnall County and graduated from Collins High School.

After school he enlisted in the United States Army and Army Reserves where he served eight years.

Jesse retired from Union Camp after 40 plus years of employment and was a member of the Heavenbound Baptist Church.

He was Daddy, Papa, and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Minnie Rose Knight-Stringer and brother; James Trelles Stringer.

Survivors include his father; Thomas S. Stringer, three daughters and son-in-law; Jessica S. and David Brammer, Melissa A. Stringer, Katrina G. Fleming and fiance Curtis Godfrey, two sisters; Margaret Salinas and Zarma Deloach, five grandchildren; Stephen E. Stringer, Jordan T. Butler, Julia H. Degon, E. Nicole Brammer, Ashley L. Brammer, a great-grandchild; Samara Stringer, and his pet cat: Eve "Killer" Stringer.

Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 P.M. at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, at 11 A.M. at the Heavenbound Baptist Church. Internment will be at the Old Anderson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Manassas, Ga.
