3/28/1968- Tuttle Times:

Mrs Ada K. Cruzan, 81 year old Tuttle resident, died Sunday afternoon in the Hillcrest hospital at Oklahoma City, following several months illness.

Mrs Cruzan, born 2/20/1887 at Ft Worth, TX, spent her early life in Texas and moved to Elmore City about 1905. On 12/19/1909, she was married to David W. Cruzan at Elmore City, and they moved to Tuttle in 1917. January of 1940, they moved to Chelsea, where they lived until returning to Tuttle in 1962. In 1959, they observed their Golden Wedding anniversary. She was preceded in death by her husband 12/6/1967. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are 1 daughter, Mrs Leon Breedlove of Goddard, Kans, 4 sons, Lee Cruzan & Boyce Cruzan, both of Tuttle, Herbert Cruzan of Cortez, Colo, & Eugene Cruzan of Tacoma, Wash, 1 sister, Mrs Cordie Bourland of Vernon, TX, 1 brother, Thomas Long of Ft Worth, TX, 18 grandchildren, & 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Church of Christ at Tuttle with Roger Puckett officiating. Music was provided by a choir. Pallbearers were Elgin Tate, Joe Conner, Leonard Streber, Jess Plumlee, Henry Klippel, & Dewey Edwards. Burial was in Fairview cemetery beside her husband.
