Leona, one of two of my mother's older sisters, was second born of four children (all girls) to John Otto Johnson and Gracie Myrtle Osborn.
Leona married Norman Valentine Unroe on June 24, 1936 in Las Vegas, Clark Co., Nevada. They were married 48 years at the time of Norman's death in 1984.
Leona and Norman had three children between them. First born was Norma Pauline Unroe born in 1937, second born was Lillian Marie Unroe born in 1939, and third born was Dennis Michael Unroe born in 1944.
