A native of Jeff Davis County, Mrs. Galbreath had lived all of her life in this area. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lester Galbreath and two sons, P.J. and Harold Lester Galbreath.
Survivors include one daughter, Louise Waller, Simi Valley, California; two sons, Albert Galbreath, Atlanta and Robert Lewis Galbreath, Jr., Santa Monica, California; three sisters, Beulah Colson, Hazlehurst, Eudell Mosley, Screven, Georgia, and Sue Cobb, Jacksonville, Fla.; four brothers, Woodrow, Fred and Gray Hayes, Hazlehurst, and Roy Hayes, Warrenville, South Carolina; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 13, at 3 o'clock at the Chapel at Murchison Funeral Home, with Reverend Bob Corley officiating. Interment followed in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Pallbearers were Hugh Galbreath, Everette Booth, William Galbreath, Ed Crabb, Bill Galbreath, Carl Manning and Gerald Tootle.
