Opal Marie Acree

JEFFERSON CITY- Opal Marie Acree, 78, of Jefferson City, died Monday, March 4, 1991 at Oak Ridge Nursing Center in Jefferson City.

She was born April 14, 1912 in Bachelor, the daughter of Homer Lee and Laura Marie Kemp. She married George R. Acree who preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son Robert Lee Acree, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a sister Eula Fritz of Fulton.
She was employed as an elementary teacher in Fulton, and was co-owner of Acree Feed Service. She later was employed by the Missouri Division of Family Services.
Mrs. Acree attended school at Northeast Missouri State University, Central Missouri State University, and William Woods College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fulton, the Callaway County Historical Society and The Fulton Garden Club.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Debo Chapel in Fulton, with the Father Thomas McGrath officiating. Mrs. Acree was cremated.
