Born July 22, 1897 on a farm near Plano, she was the daughter of Andrew & Harriet Ely. She married Alia Green on September 1, 1915 and he preceded her in death on January 31, 1960. Before marriage she taught school.
Mr. & Mrs. Gren came to Centerville in 1942 moving from a farm north of Plano. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Centerville.
Beside her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth; a sister, Allie Ely.
Survivors include two sisters, Lila of Tuscon, AZ and Edna of Melrose; a sister-in-law; brothers-in-kaw; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held April 27th with the Rev. Larpft(?)
pastor of the Bursh Church officiating with burial in the Burshy Cemetery.
