1st wife of Alfred Jacob Hirschi. Died at age 39. Her grave site is next to Alfred Jacob Hirschi's grave. Alfred's headstone is shared with his second wife Sylvia Leissring Hirschi.

DEATH ANGEL VISITS BEAR LAKE HOMES

Mrs. Eva Hirschi of this city died in Blackfoot Monday, February 16th. She was 38 years of age and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Blechert of this city. She was born and raised at Geneva and was married six years ago in October to A. J. Hirschi.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by the following sister and brothers, Mrs. L. A. Dewey of Geneva, Emil, John and Lewis Blechert of this city.

Funeral services will be held from the Third Ward Chapel Friday afternoon at two o’clock and burial will be in the Montpelier City Cemetery.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FRIDAY

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Eva Hirschi, were held in the Third Ward Chapel in this city on Friday afternoon, February 20th, under the direction of Bishop Sidney Burgoyne.

Opening prayer was by Bishop Henry Teuscher of Geneva. The speakers were Bishop Berrey of Wardboro and John H. Boehme of Geneva. Mrs. Ed Grosjean sang a solo; the Ward Choir sang “Wanted on the Other Side” and “Sometime, Somewhere”; Benediction was by Elgin Bridges.

Interment was made in the Montpelier Cemetery.
