Fred F. Burre Jr., 85, RR 1, who was associated with Burre's Fruit Farm before he retired, died Tuesday evening, April 25, 1989, at his home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gerald Todd, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Muncie Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at Davis Funeral Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Burre was bom July 11, 1903 in Leavenworth, the son of Fred and Eda Maasz Burre. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

He married Harriet K. Studdard on July 30, 1930, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She survives at the home.

Other survivors include three brothers, Anton "Tony" Burre and Arthur Burre, both of RR 1, and Louis Burre, Leavenworth; and a sister, Helene B. Doughty, Leavenworth.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ed Burre and John Burre.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
