“Emma Marie Burre, ten days old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burre of the Burre fruit farm at the foot of Pilot Knob, died last night at 8 o’clock. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock from the residence with the Rev. A. G. Dick officiating. Burial will be made in the Mount Muncie cemetery.
The death of the infant daughter makes three deaths in the Burre families within three weeks. John Burre, father of Fred Burre died a short time ago and Mrs. Bertha Maasz, mother of Mrs. Fred Burre, also died within the last three weeks.”
