THE VILLAGES — Carmelo Arcudi, 85, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011.
Mr. Arcudi was born in Westport, CT, and moved to The Villages from Fairfield, CT, in 1996. He was a retired shipping clerk for a housing industry; of the Catholic faith; an Army veteran of World War II; and enjoyed watching baseball, golf and football.
Survivors include his brother, Ben, Deerfield Beach and sisters Lora Arcudi, The Villages, and Mafalda Zona, Norwalk, CT.
Inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
Arrangements are by Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake.
