Aud McEntire, age 93, of Kearney, passed away Friday, July 6, 2001, at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty.
Aud was born June 15, 1909 in Bruno, AR and lived in the Holt and Kearney areas most of his life. He had been a farmer and had worked for Builder's Steel in North Kansas City for 27 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Kearney.On December 18, 1939, he married Agnes (Taylor) in Harrison, AR and she survives of the home.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Lucy McEntire; four sisters, Ola Roberts, Bertha McEntire, Lou Adams and his twin sister, Oda Lowery and three brothers, Oliver, Kenner, and Roy.
Survivors include three sons, Living Male McEntire and Living Male McEntire, both of Kearney and Living Male McEntire of Excelsior Springs; a sister, Ruth Vanzant of Liberty; four grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, 2001 at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lathrop with interment in the New Hope Cemetery near Holt. End Aud's OBIT.
