The Oklahoman, Saturday, October 7, 1972:
Services for Charles Wesley Cunningham, 69, of 2908 Middlesex Drive, will be at 10 am Monday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. He died Thursday at Baptist Medical Center. Cunningham, a native of Bessmay, Texas, moved to Ardmore in 1908 and came to Oklahoma City in 1926. He was a plastering contractor for 45 years and was a farmer and rancher in Canadian, Logan and Marshall counties.

He was a member of the Sub-Contractors Association of Oklahoma City, and the International Association of Walls and Ceilings Contractors. He was a member of the Okahoma Cattlemen's Association, and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a Shriner, a member of Hiram Masonic Lodge, and a member of Crown Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Florence; two daughters, Mrs Jackie Siegman, Los Gatos, CA, and Mrs Eva Midgley, 11709 N. Victoria Drive; a son, Richard, South Vietnam; sister, Mrs Fathie Raburn, Wilson; and brother, Hardy Robinett, San Ray, TX. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
