TURKEY - Funeral services for Marie Beaver, 92, of Turkey will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Turkey with the Rev. Matthew Veal officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.
Mrs. Beaver died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, in Plainview. She was born Dec. 28, 1918, in Razor, Texas, to Willie and Mary Towrey. She married Elzie Beaver in October 1942. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Turkey.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joe and Catherine Beaver of Hale Center and Wilbert Beaver of Far Rockaway, N.Y.; one daughter, Leola Beaver of Turkey; one brother, Curtis W. Towrey of Seattle; one sister, Janie Bell of Turkey; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
