Melvin Franklin Bell (June 13, 1925 - September 3, 2010)

(Age 85) After miraculously surviving several critical illnesses, Mel died of heart failure on September 3, 2010 at Holy Family Hospital.

He was born June 13, 1925 in Sandpoint, Idaho to Forrest and Beulah Bell. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim, Bud, and Kenny; sisters Juanita Bell & Jewel Brown. He is survived by his wife Kay, sons Larry and Jack Hanson; sisters Beverly Klette, Bonnie Walker, Francie Wilson, and Glenna Homes; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was Past Master of Oriental Lodge #74 and a Legion of Honor recipient.

Visitation and viewing will be Thursday, September 9th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday, September 10th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A Masonic graveside service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park on Saturday, September 11th at 11:00 AM. Please sign the online guest book.
