Kenny was born and raised in Spokane WA. In the 1950's he played pro baseball with the Dodgers organization. Kenny was a pilot in the United States Air Force. He spent his last 30 years residing in Tacoma. In 1993 Kenny retired from Burlington Northern Railroad. He was a lifetime member of Am-Vets, Pheasants Forever, and an avid sportsman. He played darts both recreational and in leagues. He had a passion for coaching little league baseball & softball. He was involved in all of his children's activities. One of Kenny's proudest moments was the day his grandson was born on the same day as his birthday.

He enjoyed spending time with his wife, sons, brothers, nephews, grandchildren and numerous friends hunting & fishing all over the United States & Canada. Kenny had a great love for animals and the outdoors. Kenny Bell was also involved with the breeding of hunting dogs. He was heavily involved in the Puget Sound chapter of Pheasants Forever which promotes the preservation of wildlife habitat in Washington State.

One of Kenny's greatest joys in life was finding and reuniting with his four children after 39 anguishing years of searching. It was one of his greatest discoveries which also included finding out he had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Within the last year, Kenny joined Facebook and found many family and friends through the Facebook network. He spent hours daily enjoying reading and writing to everyone on Facebook. The virtual reality would make him smile and laugh. He had an addiction to playing Texas hold-em on Zanga poker. He had a love of life for his family & friends. He had a personality quirk in which he picked on everyone! However, as well as he dished it out, he got it back ten fold and loved every minute of it. No matter who he met or where he met them, he always gained a new friend in that person. He would give the shirt off his back not only to his family and friends but to a friend he had but barely known. He had a heart bigger than Texas, and ready and able to share that heart as he did time and again throughout his life.

Kenny L. Bell will forever be in our hearts and minds. He will always be remembered by everyone as a genuine and generous person.
