---Mrs. Clarence Swarthout received word Wednesday of the death of her aunt, Mrs. Kizzie Smedley which occurred at her home in Ethel Wednesday morning after suffering a stroke of paralysis on Sunday.
---Mrs. Smedley is quite well known here, having visisted in the Swarthout home and was planning her usual visit here when she was stricken.
---Mrs. Smedley was eighty-nine years old and is survived by five sons, George Lynch of Atlanta, Bud Lynch of Goldsberry, Jeff Smedley of Kansas City and James and Willie Smedley of Ethel.
