Graveside services will be held for Odessa Ocheltree, 85, of North Bend at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Norway Cemetery. Pastor Greg Howald will officiate.
Odessa was born July 26, 1925, in Barstow, Calif., to Dolf and Gladys (Browning) Coleman. She died Dec. 8, 2010, in Coos Bay.
Her family moved from California to Bridge on Big Creek when she was 2 years old. She lived there until 1974.
Odessa is survived by her son, John Brimhall and wife, Sharon of Gaylord; sister, Alice Thrush of Tenmile; nephew, David Francies of Yellow Creek; niece, Peggy and husband, Corrin Blondell of Sutherlin; nephew, Bill and wife, Yvonne Coleman of Coquille; sister-in-law, Evelyn Coleman of Bridge; nephew, Alan and wife, Elaine Coleman of Conrad, Mont.; niece, Susan and husband, Tim Babic of Tacoma, Wash.; nephew, Lynn Coleman and wife, Carol of Weiser, Idaho; niece, Becky and husband, Doug Gulseth of Myrtle Point; Elise and husband, Gary Bennett of Bremerton, Wash.; numerous other nieces and nephews; stepgrandchildren, Lorrie Slagle of Fairview, Stacey Harer of Sweet Home and Johnny Barnard of Albany; and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bruce; brother, Tom; husband, Howard Brimhall; and husband, William Bill Ocheltree.
