Sarah Jane King, daughter of Michael King and Susanna Deardorff married George W. Ecker, son of Abraham Ecker and Sarah Wallick.

Husband George, a carpenter, went west ending up for a time in Noble, Kansas leaving Sarah and the younger children still living in Dover. Both his (Noble Kansas) and her (Dover, Ohio) census data lists them as Married in 1880.

pg 960 "The History of Stark County, Ohio" ed. William Henry Perrin, pub.1881 mentions Sarah briefly, but gives no information about her husband or children.

The 1900 census list Sarah as a Widow.

Date of death has been listed as April 27, 1907 and as April 28, 1907. Hoping for a photo of the grave marker to help out.

Sarah Ecker is searchable at www.dovercemeteries.com which will give a locator map for her plot.
