HELEN M. WRIGHT
Helen M. Wright, 72, of Terre Haute, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 1992, in Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
She was born August 27, 1920, in Terre Haute to Fred Scarbrough and Anna Polly Sons Scarbrough. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, John C. Wright; four sons, John F. of Crawfordsville, Raymond L. of Shepardsville, Clyde E. of New Albany and Donald J. of Terre Haute; six daughters, Lois Young and Rita Gormong of Terre Haute, Anna Spitler and Sue Lee of Marshall, Ill., Frieda Tarrh of Fredericksburg, Va. and Polly Vandevender-Rector of Prairie Creek; two brothers, Fred Scargrough of Terre Haute and James Scargrough of Hobart; two sisters, Alma Jones of Terre Haute and Esther Walberts of Shoals; 28 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff Gormong and Rev. Doug Dennis officiating. Burial is in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today.
