Lois E. Young, 78 of Terre Haute passed away June 23, 2014 at Springhill Village. She was born on October 14, 1935 to John and Helen (Scarbrough) Wright. Her husband, Earl E. Young, Sr. preceded her in death on June 16, 2013. She is survived by three sons, Earl Young, Jr., John R. Young and wife Carol, and James ‘Dog' Young and longtime friend Beverly Muncie; sisters Ann Spitler and husband Charles, Rita Gormong and husband Larry, Frieda Tarrh and husband Allan, and Sue Lee; brothers John Wright, Clyde Wright and friend Becky Crane, Ray Wright and wife Starla, and Don Wright and wife Jenny; grandchildren Cynthia Young, Shauna Reynolds, Earl Young, III, Tabatha Young, Christina Carrico and a deceased grandson James Wilkey. Her great-grandchildren are Temperance Rennier, Ema Young, Nicole Duke, Aiden Reynolds, Faith Carrico, Abigail Young, and Xander Carrico. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Polly Rector. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Thursday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 p.m. until services. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery.
