Selina was the daughter of John Williamson and his wife Selina Riley. She was born in England and married Thomas Bingham there in 1870. Together they had a large family which included Thomas, William, Selina, Mary, Albert, Herbert, Alfred, Cary, Earnest and Walter. Walter would die of diptheria when he was about a year and a half while the couple was living in Bracebridge, Ontario.
Selina died at the age of 67 of stomach cancer, which she suffered for a year before her death.
