FOWLER BOONVILLE Myrtle Cave Fowler Dec 29, 1929 - Sept 1, 2011 Myrtle Cave Fowler, 81, of Cranberry Road passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011 at her home. She was born December 29, 1929 in Surry County to the late William Harrison and Edna Cave. Mrs. Fowler was retired from Tultex and worked for most of her life as a Tobacco Farmer with her husband. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker for her family, and enjoyed making her tenderloin biscuits for them and church activities. Mrs. Fowler attended Mitchells Chapel United Methodist Church in Boonville. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Columbus Fowler; a sister, Naomi; and 3 brothers, Benny, Leo, and Jim. Surviving are her devoted children, daughter, Louise Fowler Henderson, and husband, Robert of Greensboro; son, Chris Fowler, and wife, Teresa of Boonville; grandchildren, Robin, Russell, Angela, Kristy, Samantha; 3 sisters, Anna Lee, Margie, Ruby; and a brother, George. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Saturday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Charles Turner. Burial will follow in Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Dobson. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mitchells Chapel United Methodist Church, Center Road, Boonville, NC 27011.
