The couple operated the Fischer homestead farm in the town of Centerville, a mile west of Cleveland until their retirement in 1944. Since that time they made their home in Cleveland. Mr Fischer was a lifetime member of Saints John and Peter Lutheran Church at Centerville.
Survivors are his wife; one son Reuben, on the homestead farm and a sister Mrs William Meyer, Sheboygan. His parents, one brother and five sisters preceded him in death. Burial in Saxon Cemetery.
