MRS. MARY BERRIER BURIED
Blain, Pa., April 16. - Funeral services of Mrs. Mary Anna Berrier, widow of Thomas Berrier, who died on Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Eichelberger, in Jackson township, from a paralytic stroke, were held yesterday, conducted in the Zion's Reformed Church by the Rev. E.V. Strasbaugh.

Our Blain correspondent thus writes:
After just one week of illness Mrs. Mary Berrier passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Echelberger, in Jackson township, on last Thursday. He (sic) death was due to a light stroke.
The children who mourn her death are: Mrs. John Echelberger, Mrs. Geo. Smith and Mrs. Wm. Burk, of Illinois, and one son Daniel Berrier, of this place. The sisters and brothers who survived are as follows: Mrs. Sarah Clouse, Mrs. Philip Stambaugh, Mrs. Jacob O'Donel, Susan Gutshall, Mrs. Kate Gutshall, Wm. and John Gutshall. Mrs. Berrier was well known through this part of the county. She had a large circle of friends and will be missed by all. She was born in 1839 and died April 11, 1918, therefore she was aged 79 years, 2 months and 26 days. She had been a member of the Reformed church for many years.
Funeral services were held in the Reformed church Saturday at 2 p.m. by Rev. E.V. Strasbaugh. J.C. Martin was the undertaker. The pallbearers were as follows: Lewis Britcher, William Hockenberry, Ed. McVey, S. Shields, John Gray, and James Shumaker.
