Roy W. Tinker, 64, of Yeager, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at his home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hudson-Phillips Chapel with Don Venable and the Rev. Jason Yarbrough officiating. Burial will be at the Tinker Family Cemetery in Yeager. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville. Born July 27, 1941, in Bache, he was the son of Eddie Andrew Tinker and Mary Helen (Brown). He was raised in Bache and attended school in Haileyville. After graduation, he remained in Bache until the early 70s. He married Judy Heard on Oct. 13, 1975, in Atoka. He had ranched in Hughes County for more than 35 years. He enjoyed racing horses and watching OU football. Survivors include his wife, Judy Tinker, of Holdenville; three daughters, Kimberly Davis, Wichita, Kan., Minisa and husband, Larry Wheeler, of Francis, and Shawndolyn and husband, Larry Richmond, of Holdenville. Also, three grandchildren, Jennifer Davis, Wichita, Kan., and Mikayla and Layton Richmond, of Holdenville; four brothers, Leon Tinker, of Phoenix, Hollis Tinker and wife, Maxine, of McAlester, Don Tinker and wife, Ann, of McAlester, and Joe Tinker, of California. And, three sisters, Helen and husband, Don Noble, of Ada, Rosemary and husband, Orval Free Jr., of McAlester, and Linda and husband, Bob Camp, of McAlester, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Curt Krigbaum, Robert Carr, Mike Goodson, Jack Goodson, Billy Conn and John Rosso. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay McLemore, Gordon Null, Denton McNutt, Kenneth Steele, Sidney Mondin, John Stirman and Cotton Rowland. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob Tinker and Billy Tinker, and one sister, Joyce Martin.
