King, Mary S., daughter of John J. and Magdalene (Mast) Hartzler, was born at Mottsville, Mich., Nov. 19, 1877; died at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Mo., Apr. 29, 1975; aged 97 y. On Apr. 24, 1906, she was married to Menno S. King, who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1911. Surviving are one son (John King), one daughter (Inah Mrs. Joe Smith), 2 stepchildren (Emery King and Phebe - Mrs. Crist Graber), 7 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren 6 great-great-grandchildren, and one sister (Anna Eigsti). She was a member of the Sycamore Grove Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on May 2, in charge of Kenneth F. Steckly; interment in Clearfork Cemetery.
