Mrs. Margaret Lighty (sic) died Saturday at her home near Otterbein of the infirmities of age. Her condition had been feeble for a long time. She was born in Ohio July 23, 1835, and came to this county when a small girl. Mrs. Lighty was a member of the U. B. church and was an earnest Christian. She is survived by a son George Lighty, a sister Mrs. Susan Glasford of Sidney, O. and a brother who resides in Milwaukee. The funeral was held from the United Brethren church at Otterbein at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. W. B. Taylor officiated with interment in the Montmorenci cemetery.
