Mr. Claybourne Carroll, 84, of Huntington, widower of Mary Ann Hahnert Carroll, passed away Saturday November 15, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born August 17, 1924 in Cabell County, a son of the late Herbert and Elifair Hicks Carroll Stroud.
He was a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral. He retired from Houdaille Industries as a Tool Clerk, and as a Transportation Supervisor with Goodwill Industries.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Brewer.
Funeral service was at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
