Services for Ernest E. Riley, 83, of Shawnee, KS, former Oklahoma City resident, will be 2 pm Friday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. He died Tuesday at the Olathe KS Community Hospital.
A native of Mississippi, Riley came to Oklahoma City as a young man and lived here until he moved to Shawnee recently. He was the former owner and operator of Home Garden Nursery in Oklahoma City and the former president of Oklahoma City Nurserymen's Association. He was a member of First Christian Church and Knights of Pythias Lodge 1 and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.
Survivors include a son, John Riley, Denton, TX; a stepson, James L. Robinson, Merriam, KS; two stepdaughters, Mrs Mary Ann Schroeder and Mrs Betty Lou Savage, both of Fort Worth, TX; a brother, F. M. Riley, San Jose, CA; and two sisters, Mrs Dollie Robison, Santa Ana, CA; and Mrs Floy Stuteville, Perry.
