Burial: 10 December 1891--Age: 73y--Cause of death: Heart Disease. Marker: Yes. He married Mary Adsit on 4 Sep 1842 in Westfield, Chautaugua, New York--Second he married Malinda Adsit 15 June 1858.

Obituary: He was one of thirteen children (ten boys/three girls). Among them Mrs. W. P. Reeves of Hyde Park Illinois, Mrs. T. Houser and Louis Case both of Waverly Iowa, Mrs. Beebe of Carthage Missouri, Levi Case of Ottumwa Iowa, Anson Case of Carthage Missouri, and George Case of Missouri. Also a wife and four children, Edgar S. Case of Minneapolis Minnesota, Avery Case of Aurora, Mrs. S.A. Vaughn of Aurora, and Mrs. L. F.Weeks of Omaha Nebraska. The wife of Alderman Zimmer was also a foster child, she having been bought up by Mr. and Mrs. Case from infancy.
