Peter Ahearn, Well Known Here, Is Dead

Peter Ahearn, 77, father of Mrs. Curtis Muse and Mrs. John (?) of Sanford, and well known here, died this morning at 5 o'clock in Orlando at the home of a daughter, Mrs. F.C. Schnarr.
Mr. Ahearn was born Feb. 7, 1851, in Cincinnati, O., and had resided in Florida for a number of years. Besides his two daughters here and two in Orlando, Mrs. Schnarr and Mrs. Bertha Drawdy, Mr. Ahearn leaves four sons and two other daughters in Canada and two brothers and two sisters living in Melrose, Minn. Mr. Ahearn's wife died in Sanford on May 2.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning from the All Soul's Catholic Church with Rev. M.C. Clasby in charge. Unterment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being supervised by Carey Hand of Orlando.

At least 12 known children. John Patrick, Edward Charles, Mary Grace, Joseph, Elizabeth Teresa, William, Alice Mae, Thomas, Elmer W., Bertha Ann. Florence M., Ida E.

2. Married Frances "Fannie" Kate Miles, August 30, 1904, Bardstown, Nelson County, Kentucky.
