Hampton, NH - Elizabeth E. Glenfield, 103, formerly of Hampton, died August 25, 2011 at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers, MA.



Mrs. Glenfield was born in Mexico, ME, August 20, 1908, the daughter of the late Michael J and Florence M. (Kierstead) Olsen.



Raised in Mexico she has resided in Hampton from 1988 until 2009 when she moved to Danvers. She resided in Beverly from 1986 to 1998 and in Waltham, MA from 1946 to 1986.



She was a 1926 graduate of Mexico High School where she was class valedictorian. She also was a volunteer at Beverly Hospital for several years.



Mrs. Glenfield was the widow of John O. Glenfield, who died in 1990. She was predeceased by her two sons, George E. Glenfield in 2004 and John M. Glenfield in 2010, and all her siblings, Warren V. Olsen, James Olsen, Michael R. Olsen, Lenora Breau and Florence M. Barrett.



Family members include her daughter-in-law and caregiver, Bunny Glenfield of Hampton and Danvers, MA; nine grandchildren, Debbie Fring, Susan Glenfield, Joyce Wendling, Barbara Glenfield, Joan Beltran, Stephen Glenfield, Amy Spandano, Sarah Glenfield, and Kate Sussman and their spouses, eleven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.



A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Beverly, MA. The family requests that flowers please be omitted. If desired, memorial

donations may be made to the Holy Name Society, for the Msgr. Matthew Casey Scholarship Fund, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH 03842.
