Graveside services for Viola Mae Thatcher, 84, a former resident of Corcoran who died last Tuesday in Vallejo, were held Dec. 14 in Corcoran Cemetery.
Mrs. Thatcher was a resident of Vallejo. She was a former resident of Corcoran who operated the Thatcher Shoe Repair Shop for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Robert and Jack, both of Corcoran and Paul of Hanford; three daughters, Ola Mae Sills of Corcoran, Helen Dickerson and Elsie Winslow, both of Vallejo; two sisters, Loretta Beasley of Corcoran and Addie Shelton of Kansas; a brother, Jack Turner of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Bledsoe Chapel handled the arrangements.
