Husband was Joseph Mesevey who remarried in Vermont and moved to Brown County, Illinois. Polly's parents also followed Joseph to Brown County, Illinois and they all lived near town of Mount Sterling where they Joseph and the Twombly in laws all died.
Wheelock History says that Joseph Meservey came from Barnstead, NH; he bought Lot no. 151 on May 14, 1810 just west of this cemetery and took the Freeman's oath in 1812. It is not known if he is buried here.
