Many family trees have Hannah's death and burial at Whitehorse Township, Woods Co., OK. However, on April 27, 2013, Charles L. Heaton, checked all over the cemetery and the list of burials that is posted at the cemetery and found no NOKES. He also checked the Woods County Cemetery book in the library and there is no NOKES in the entire index. Also he checked the Alfalfa Cemetery book, Alfalfa County is next to Woods County, and no NOKES in the index.
Hannah could have remarried following John Nokes death and if so, sho would be buried under a different surname. However, I have found no record of another marriage.
The last record of Hannah is the 1880 census for Polk, De Kalb, Missour with husband John Nokes.
