The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter on Stepp Grubb Road in Linwood.
Mrs. Woodle was born November 17, 1926, in Davidson County, to Robert Lee Leonard and Myrtle Hill Leonard. She was married to Johnny Carson Woodle who preceded her in death July 22, 1993.
Surviving are daughter, Patricia Hanes and husband, Don, of Lexington; grandchildren, Scott Hanes and wife, Loretta and Craig Hanes and wife, Sydney, all of Lexington; three grandchildren, Cody Clevinger , Logan Hanes and Justin Hanes; sister, Nancy Elliott and husband, John, of Lexington; nieces and nephews, Angie Boyles and husband, Brian, Johnny Elliott, Butch Leonard and wife, Joyce, Carey Leonard, and wife, Zelda; and great nieces and nephews, Brian, Jason Leonard and wife, Florie, and their child, Jacelle, Clinton Craver, Daryl Craver, Jarrett Leonard and his children, Christian, Alyssa and Lilly.
The family would like to thank Carolina House and Alston Brook Nursing Centers for the loving care of Lorine Woodle.
