Mrs. Flowers, who was shot in the neck by her husband with a "22" rifle three weeks ago, died at her home on the Nuckles Farm, two miles north of Town in Audrain County on Monday afternoon. Whether or not her death was from the effect of the wound not learned, neither as it been ascertained whether or not the Audrain County authorities propose investigating the shooting. Her remains were buried in the Middletown Cemetery Tuesday. She leaves a husband and two small boys.
