Elaine L. Casey of Honey Brook
Elaine L. Casey, 58 yrs., of Honey Brook, died on Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Manor Care Health Center in Chambersburg, while under the loving care of her family and hospice.
She was born on September 17, 1952 in Lansdowne, Pa.
She was the daughter of the late Lyle and Mary (Devitt) Steward.
She was the wife of Kirkland D. "Kirk" Casey, with whom she shared 36 yrs of marriage.
Elaine was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was employed for many years at the Honey Brook Early Learning Center. Elaine was a member of the Living God Lutheran Church and enjoyed being part of the Twin Valley Relay For Life .
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Steward. Elaine is survived by three sons, Kirkland Casey of Downingtown, Joseph Casey of Chambersburg and Jeffrey Casey of Shippensburg; a daughter, Kimberley Stiemke of Shippensburg; and four sisters, Sue Winner, Sharon Misetic, Maryanne Lauer and Rita Lukes. She was a proud grandmother to Konner and Lyla Stiemke.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 10 a.m. from the Living God Lutheran Church, 3200 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, with Rev. Richard Moore officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at the Edgewood Memorial Gardens in Glen Mills, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Elaine to American Cancer Society , 1615 West Chester Pike, Suite # 102, West Chester, Pa. 19382
