Pallbearers were Russell Wallace, Harry Capps, Charles Busby, Willie Nelson, Chuck Obermiller, and Jack G. Powell.
Burial was in the Hominy cemetery under direction of Powell Funeral Home.
James Benjamin Owsley was born August 5, 1908 in Hominy and passed away September 25, 1970 in a Tulsa Hospital at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 20 days.
He had been a resident of Hominy all his life and worked on pipelines until he retired.
His survivors include one brother, Tom Owsley of Kingman, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
