Thanks go to Findagrave volunteer, Mike Perry, who reported October 2012 that he walked the entire cemetery and could not find the requested stone. The headstones are in generally poor condition due to weather, acid rain, cold and heat that have caused a number of stones to be illegible. Other stones have fallen and have been placed on their faces in hopes of preserving the engravings. Many stones have gotten overgrown by vegetation and are not currently visible. Finally at least one stone has been embedded in the trunk of a tree and has been crushed into several pieces -- none readable. It's possible that this marker will be located in the future. A clean-up of the cemetery is under way now.
