Eastman Wynona
Baraboo-Wynona Eastman age 80 of Baraboo passed away on Tuesday December3,1991 at Devine Savior Nursing Home,Portage. Born July15,1911 to Harvey and Leatha Totten.She married Emery Setzer in 1928,three children born into this marriage.Donald,Roger and a baby boy who died at birth.
Mr. and Mrs. Setzer established there home on the Setzer Homestead in Greenwood Twp.,Vernon County,WI. until 1952,when they bought a home and established the Setzer Implement Company in Hillsboro.
Wynona worked along side her husband in building their business and taking part in all community projects until 1958,when Mr. Setzer suddenly passed.
Wynona remarried in 1959,Veryl Eastman of Hillsboro.He passed away in 1973. In 1974 she moved from Hillsboro to Baraboo.
She is survived by six grandchildren and 11 greatgrand children.Preceded in death by her parents her siblings,two husbands and three sons.
Funeral sevices held Friday,December6,1991 at 11a.m. at the Fick Funeral Home in Hillsboro.Reverand Conrad Prell officiated,burial in Mt.Vernon Cemetery,Hillsboro,WI. Next to her husband Emery.
As Grandma lay dieing she said"You should be glad for me." And we are;just imagine the glorious reunion!(Julie Setzer-Nelson)
(Note:Wynona's Mother Leathea died in the 1918 Influenza Epidimic,Wynona was Seven Years old,she was raised by her Aunt Della Totten-Warren. Her Memorial#91149936.)
