Helen S. Bills, 53, died Wednesday afternoon at 12:45 at the Ionia County Memorial hospital after being admitted there Tuesday night after suffering a heart attack. Mrs. Mills and her husband, Tom, lived at the home of her
husband's mother, Mrs. Seymour Bills of North Jackson Street. She was born June 15, 1898 at Chicago, Ill, and was a member of the Evangelical church of Ionia. She had taught Sunday school in that church for a number of years. Mrs. Bills was ill for a year.

Surviving besides the husband is one son, Daniel of Ionia; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Braunell of Rockford, Mrs. Clifford Rode of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Judd Horrocks of Ionia; two brothers, Frank Wacha of Belding and Martin Wacha, of Greenville.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:00 at the Evangelical U.B. church and the body will lie in state at the church from 2:30 to 3:00 Friday. The body will repose at the Myers funeral home until time of the service. Interment will be at the Highland Park Cemetery at the family lot. Rev. R.C. Middleton will be the officiating minister.
