Deseret News, The (Salt Lake City, UT) - May 14, 2000. Deceased Name: Obituary: Hudson John Denney. Our beloved father and grandfather, Hudson John Denney, passed away May 12, 2000 from natural causes. Born Dec. 11, 1920, to John Charles and Pearl Elizabeth Denney in Salt Lake City. He married Elaine Rasmussen on August 1, 1938. She died April 27, 1971. He married Millie Robertson in 1973. He retired from Kennecott Copper after 42 years of dedicated service. Denney loved people. He enjoyed traveling, and his association with his friends at the Murray Heritage Center. He cherished his time with his family and grandchildren. He especially loved tinkering in his old garage. He was a member of the LDS Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Millie; children, Gary (Bunny), West Jordan; Mike (Draine), Draper; Sandy (Wink) Ressler, Boise, ID; and Pamela Jo (Bob) Black, Lima, OH; Dan and Donna Robertson, Colorado Springs, CO; Cathy and Scott Williams, Grantsville, also survive him; as well as 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Daddy was a well loved man and will be missed by many people. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2000 at 12 noon at the Draper 7th Ward, 12353 South 600 East in Draper. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and one hour prior to services at the Ward on Tuesday for visitations.
