Lela Mary Privett passed away at home with family at her side on August 14, 2017.

She was born February 4, 1929 in Midvale to John Denney and Annie Lela Allen.

She married Alvin Russell Privett on June 16, 1947; sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 26, 1948.

She served in the Primary and Relief Society in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also served in the temple.

She enjoyed crafts, camping, and embroidery work. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother.

She leaves behind two children, Roger (Donna) Privett and Colleen (Bob) Holm; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; two daughters, Linda and Jackie; three sons, Casey, Randy, and Preston; two grandsons; two sisters; and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where viewings will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Friday from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn.
